The UCPNG Assembly Office, located in Downtown Port Moresby, serves as the national headquarters. It provides spiritual leadership, administrative support, and coordination for all regional church activities. The Assembly is led by the Moderator, supported by the General Secretary, Treasurer, ministry coordinators, and staff.
The Assembly Office of the United Church in Papua New Guinea (UCPNG) provides spiritual, administrative, and organizational leadership for the life and mission of the church nationwide.
The team is led by the Moderator, who serves as the spiritual head of the church, offering guidance, unity, and vision for the church’s mission. Supporting the Moderator are key officers and staff, including:
General Secretary – responsible for administration, coordination of ministries, and policy implementation.
Treasurer/Finance Office – oversees stewardship of church resources and financial accountability.
Program and Ministry Coordinators – lead church work in evangelism, education, health, women’s and youth ministries, and social/community development.
Support Staff – provide essential services that enable smooth operations of the Assembly Office.
Together, this team works to uphold the mission of UCPNG: to witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serve communities across Papua New Guinea, and nurture unity within the church.
